    Smoky caramel & apple flavour profiles pair beautifully with the sweet spice of our Sticky Chai recipe for the perfect autumnal warmer.

    Our famous Sticky Chai recipe (the first in the UK!) is made in small batches, using freshly ground spices & wildflower honey. Think of it as speciality tea, hand-blended with soul-warming spice. We love to infuse it with our limited edition tea blends to create magical & unique blends. Now this is what cosy smells like!

    150g pouch of Sticky Chai contains approx 15 servings.

    Wildflower Honey (44%), Sri Lankan Black Tea (28.0%), Cinnamon (6.2%), Cardamom (5.0%), Ginger (4.5%), Cocoa Nibs (3.9%), Apple Pieces (2.8%), Fennel (2.2%), Safflower (1.1%), Chilli (1.1%), Chinese Lapsang Souchong Black Tea (1.1%), Natural Flavouring.

    The history of Sticky Chai

    ☕ What Is Sticky Chai?

    Sticky Chai is a modern take on traditional Indian masala chai. It combines tea leaves, spices & honey into a thick, sticky blend that's easy to brew & packed with flavour.

    📜 Where It All Started

    Masala chai has been enjoyed in India for centuries. It's brewed with black tea, milk, & spices like cardamom and ginger. Sticky Chai, however, is a much more recent invention.

    🌏 A Modern Invention

    Sticky Chai emerged in the early 2000s in Australia, where baristas wanted a chai that was more authentic than powders or syrup. Mixing spices & tea with honey created a ready to use blend that locked in flavour and aroma.

    🍯 The UK’s First Sticky Chai

    Bird & Blend introduced the UK’s first Sticky Chai. Using eight spices & wildflower honey, the recipe quickly became a fan favourite & even won a Great Taste Award!

    🌿 What’s Next?

    Since then, we’ve expanded the range with seasonal and limited-edition blends inspired by our most loved teas.

    How to make sticky chai

    How to make a hot sticky chai

      Step 1

      2 tea spoons (or 1 heaped tea spoon) to 1 cup of milk.

      Step 2

      Heat with milk on stove or pop in the microwave

    • sticky chai hot tea filtering

      Step 3

      Strain out in your fave mug with an infuser/ strainer.

      Sprinkle with cinnamon, cocoa powder or nutmeg!

    How to make iced sticky chai

      Step 1

      2 tea spoons (or one heaped spoon) of chosen sticky chai flavour

      Step 2

      Add to your Brewdini or strainer of choice, top with water & steep for 4 minutes.

      Once brewed pop into a fridge or pour into a cocktail shaker with ice & shake, shake, shake!

    A Winter Warmer!

    Bonfire Toffee Sticky Chai, yummy. My daughter bought a jar of this chai at Christmas. I used it all before she tried it! So I had to buy more, so glad it was still in stock. On cold days I have a warm milk with Bonfire Toffee Sticky Chai. It tastes delicious and is so warming. I use a little mesh infuser, spoon in the chai and leave it dangling in the mug as I drink it. Glad to say, the weather is turning colder again this week. 😀

    Ok

    I'm a huge fan of sticky chai but this just isn't for me, very strong smokey I found a bit to overpowering
