Cold brewing also uses less energy than a hot brew or classic iced tea because you're cutting out the kettle by brewing straight in your cold water. Plus, the Cold Brew Tea Bottle, with built-in infuser, is made from tempered glass, so it's reusable, unlike single-use plastic iced tea bottles. Double win!
Simply scoop 5-6 tsp of loose leaf tea for cold brewing into your cold brew bottle, add 750ml of cold water (soda, milk or lemonade work well too) & leave to steep for 4-6 hours or overnight. A great way to enjoy your favourite blends in a refreshing way whatever the weather!

Makes it easier to make ice tea from loose leaf. Only downside is that the strainer can be a bit tricky to clean sometime and bits of tea can remain a bit stuck.
Although I am told it is safe to put in the dishwasher, I was also told it is so fragile that it might actually break. Broken glass in the dishwasher anyone? Seeing as I am a wheelchair user that cannot reach the sink, the dishwasher is my only option. It would be lovely if this company could be up-front in their FAQ that this bottle must only be hand washed. Right now mine is just an expensive vase. I've had to get a tea strainer and a different bottle. Unhappy and a waste of money.

We’re really sorry to hear that our Cold Brew Bottle hasn’t worked out for you. To clarify, the bottle is suitable for the dishwasher, but as it’s made from glass we recommend handwashing to help avoid potential breakages and to preserve the printed branding, which can fade more quickly in the dishwasher. This is why the FAQs on our website do state to wash with hot soapy water.
We’ll have a look at our FAQs to see if we can explain this more clearly going forward so others don’t face the same confusion. As mentioned in our emails, we’re very happy to accept your bottle back for a full refund or gift voucher if unused.
