Cold brewing also uses less energy than a hot brew or classic iced tea because you're cutting out the kettle by brewing straight in your cold water. Plus, the Cold Brew Tea Bottle, with built-in infuser, is made from tempered glass, so it's reusable, unlike single-use plastic iced tea bottles. Double win!
Simply scoop 5-6 tsp of loose leaf tea for cold brewing into your cold brew bottle, add 750ml of cold water (soda, milk or lemonade work well too) & leave to steep for 4-6 hours or overnight. A great way to enjoy your favourite blends in a refreshing way whatever the weather!

Tried today for the first time. Its so refreshing. Was surprised by how well it brewed for a cold drink. Made it with water this time, but gonna try lemonade next time.
The cold brew bottle is great, using it has weaned me off of unhealthy syrupy tins of tea, that I used to buy. I enjoy experimenting with different blends but find myself always going back to peach soda tea. I find that the tea is best brewed overnight for a more developed flavour.
After 3 months use I find that the strainer part of the bottle is beginning to look a bit worn, and I am a bit concerned about how long that part will last, I wonder if replacement strainers would be available to order. I also have concerns about how slippy the bottle gets with condensation when refrigerated, I feel the bottle would benefit from a textured finish or a cozy/holder to make it easier to grip.
Overall I love my cold brew bottle and hope it lasts me a long time.
