Blended with half the amount of oat milk in my magic matcha whisk machine and then poured over ice and topped up with more oat milk… the creaminess is out of this world! And the taste and the sweetness… I didn’t even need to add any syrup or sweetness to this one! "I first came across matcha when I visited Japan many years ago, and I’ve been drinking it ever since. I don’t usually compromise on quality; life is simply too short for poor matcha. I know what good matcha tastes like and, as a non-coffee drinker, I rely on it not only for a physical boost but for that sense of mental clarity and focus too. So when I first came across Bird & Blend, I approached it with a certain amount of reservation. Was this just another brand trying to break into an already crowded matcha market? Still, I decided to give it a go. Well, I’m very happy to say I was proved wrong. In fact, this is genuinely some of the best matcha I’ve tried in the UK. The quality and grading are excellent, the flavour is rich and beautifully balanced, and it delivers exactly the kind of clean, sustained boost I look for. Consider me converted. I’m a believer!"
"Bought a small tin of this in our local shop and it's incredible how good the banana flavour is. The staff in the shop did say that for lattes you might need to add a bit extra if you want more flavour (which is the case with most matcha, really) but as I am conscious of my caffeine - and matcha is a big caffeine bomb - my portions are typically very small anyway (I use a 1:1:2 ratio - the perfect serving spoon that you can buy from here is about 2g of matcha, if you want a bigger serving I'd recommend 4g matcha, 40ml water, 80ml milk, anything above 6g and expect to be buzzing lol, and of course change the liquid ratios if you want less of a matcha flavour). Regardless of what size I choose, though, I could always taste the matcha and the banana. Super happy with my purchase, and will definitely be one I keep in rotation for myself!"
