Creamy rice notes

"This tea tastes exactly as described on the tin . The creamy oolong pairs so well with the popped brown rice . If you like rice pudding and rice in general I would reccomend"

Anna L. (5/5)

Grown-up tea!

"Many other oolong blends include sweet fruity flavours, but this tea goes in a different direction, pairing creamy oolong with toasty rice instead - much more authentic and I am finding it very moreish!"

Emma S. (4/5)

Love it

"It's just a lovely creamy genmaicha taste, I'd drink so much of this!"

Jess (5/5)

A comforting brew

"I like this one a lot. The oolong is slightly sweet and comforting and the popped brown rice give a subtle pop corn flavour. If you liked spring Sencha or Japanese genmaicha then you would probably like this too."

Jessica K. (5/5)

Rather disappointed

"I am a big lover of creamy teas - especially milky oolongs, genmaicha etc. But unfortunately, this tea is a lot more fruity than I expected, with a very very light flavour. I wish that the description on the front was more clear… ☹️"

A clean-herbal cuppa

"If you have had any black tea, you'll know it can be a bit intense. Oolong is generally one of my favorite teas since it isn't as overwhelming. This one is a GREAT variation of oolong. You can taste the herbal element with a note of sweetness that isn't overpowering either. I haven't had the opportunity to try it as a cold brew just yet, but I imagine it would be rather good as a cold brew with lemonade as well!"

Hidden Gem

"So far I've not been a fan of oolong and was sceptical about trying this. . However it's a hit! It tastes amazing, the popped rice adds another depth. . I think I'll be sipping this for a while! Oolong for the vote back win!"

Liz H. (5/5)

It's okay

"It tastes okay, I wasn't sure how it was going to taste. It's great quality, smells like popcorn. There's nothing wrong with it quality or packaging wise, it's just not my cup of tea. I'll still drink the rest of what I have, just won't purchase again"

Stephanie F. (3/5)

Not great

"Got this with the rest of the vote back teas from the Bristol store. A little disappointed with this one. I ike the other oolong blends but not sure on this one. The first brew has a slight singed popcorn taste. It does improve with brews but it's not one I'd vote back. It is an unusual flavour, if odd flavours are you're thing you might enjoy it."

Dan B. (3/5)

One of my favs from the oolong collection

"Oolong tea is one of my favorites generally, so I was chuffed to see a new oolong blend. You can really taste the sweetness and rice-ness! It's great for those who find black tea to be too strong but enjoy the flavor. Personally, I hope this one gets to stay!"
