    Named after our Prime Minister in the 19th Century, Earl Grey is a classic British breakfast brew. Ours is a little more elevated than your average cuppa though, containing oil from the bergamot plant and high quality tea blended with notes of vanilla - this is how you boost your brew.

    How to make a hot tea?

      Step 1

      1 tsp

    • tea brewing temperature

      Step 2

      Boil water to 100°

    • tea brewing time

      Step 3

      Wait 2-4 mins

    • hot cup of tea

      Step 4

      With or without milk

    How to cold brew tea?

    • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

      Step 1

      Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

    • Add cold water

      Step 2

      Add 750ml cold water

    • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

      Step 3

      Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

    • Enjoy over ice.

      Step 4

      Pour over ice & enjoy!

    Deliciously Complex and Refreshing

    The first loose leaf tea I have ever tried. The tea mixture is a delight for the senses - beautiful to look at with a delightfully rich scent. The taste is a divine and deliciously complex black tea with subtle notes of bergamot and floral vanilla with a nice astringent finish that stays with you for at least 30 minutes after drinking.

    Not only that, but I felt for the first time what experts call "chazui" or "tea drunk." It's caused by the higher concentration of caffeine, L-theanine and catechins found in higher quality teas. But don't worry! It's not the same type of buzz you get from a glass of red wine. It's more like a gentle alertness that makes you feel very relaxed yet focused. Overall a very pleasant tea experience.

    obsessed

    i'm obsessed with earl grey and i'm obsessed with Bird & Blend's version of it. it isn't overly bergamot-y the way many other brands do it. it doesn't taste artificial and doesn't leave a strange after taste. it's floral and just lovely.
