    How to make matcha 4 ways

    How to make a hot matcha

    • Step 1

      1/2 tsp

    • matcha temperature

      Step 2

      Add splash of 80° water

    • bamboo matcha whisking step

      Step 3

      Whisk in a 'W' shape until frothy

    • Step 4

      Top up with hot water or milk

    How to make iced matcha

    • Step 1

      1/2 tsp

    Not for me sadly!

    I love carrot cake so thought this would be an easy favourite. However, it’s quite heavy on the nutmeg. To me it tasted more like an egg custard than carrot cake. Will be swapping it under the happiness guarantee though and getting another of my trusty Ice Cream flavour.

    Very disappointing. Tastes like creamy carrots but no spice

    Let me start by saying that I absolutely HATE carrots. Yes, that’s right. However, I absolutely LOVE carrot cake. It must be the spices that change the taste of carrots for me, who knows? Anyway, unfortunately I really didn’t like this matcha tea flavour, and it’s because it tastes like creamy carrots but with no spice. I just couldn’t drink it, sadly. I’ve tried soooo many of B&B’s matcha teas but this is the only one I’ve felt ill after tasting. Such a shame, as carrot cake is one of my favourite flavours!
