Vicky's Sponge Cake Tea

WOW bird and blend. How did you do this? it's truly like a slice of cake in a cup. The tea is beautiful with large bits of raspberry and coconut white bits reminiscent of a tea that is a sponge cake. The scent is heavenly - exactly like the sweet smell of vanilla sponge cake, right down to the sweet tart fresh creamy tang of raspberry mixing with with the scent of cream in the middle. of the cake I had to sweeten with a touch of sugar it to bring out the flavor but wow. I was worried it would taste of coconut and raspberry -maybe tropical? But this is a perfectly blended tea so you don't notice that. You just get the overall taste of a slice of fresh cream sponge cake with raspberry jam. Another taste it was similar to was raspberry ice cream with the creamy vanilla and raspberry tastes. I would say, don't brew for too long or it will go sour and bitter. Follow the instructions . 8 hours after I drank it, the empty cup still smelled delicious like raspberry ice cream (don't ask why the cup wasn't washed up lol). I feel anyone who loves the taste of cream cakes (the ones with jam), Bird and Blend "Devon Cream Tea " , raspberry ice cream , strawberries with cream, jam doughnuts will LOVE this tea. Its perfect for diet cravings too. The incredible smell of this tea with haunt your cakey dreams lol 😋 Definately one for the permanent stash.

Vicky's Sponge cake tea is so delicious! It's fruity and sweet but the black tea gives a depth of flavour that completes it, highly recommend
