Spiced Pumpkin Sticky Chai is back with a brand new recipe for the autumn season! Richer, spicier & more decadent than ever, meet the sticky chai twist on our new take on Spiced Pumpkin Chai. 🎃
What's more, in this new recipe, we've sourced the brightest, most flavourful of teas directly from Rwanda for this very special blend - so it tastes good, looks good & does good too. It includes black tea carefully sourced from Rutsiro, a garden we are proudly working with to support impact projects that transform lives in the local community.

☕ What Is Sticky Chai?
Sticky Chai is a modern take on traditional Indian masala chai. It combines tea leaves, spices & honey into a thick, sticky blend that's easy to brew & packed with flavour.
📜 Where It All Started
Masala chai has been enjoyed in India for centuries. It's brewed with black tea, milk, & spices like cardamom and ginger. Sticky Chai, however, is a much more recent invention.
🌏 A Modern Invention
Sticky Chai emerged in the early 2000s in Australia, where baristas wanted a chai that was more authentic than powders or syrup. Mixing spices & tea with honey created a ready to use blend that locked in flavour and aroma.
🍯 The UK’s First Sticky Chai
Bird & Blend introduced the UK’s first Sticky Chai. Using eight spices & wildflower honey, the recipe quickly became a fan favourite & even won a Great Taste Award!

"I’ve never been a tea drinker but for health reasons I have been told to give up coffee and try tea instead. I ordered the autumn kit so I had a selection to try and Pumkin Pie Chai was included. I have to say this is absolutely wonderful. It is certainly a better alternative to my latte and I would also say it’s better than drinking hot chocolate. I love the spicy kick and the after taste. I also love the smell, they say brew coffee when someone is coming don’t bother just brew this it fills the room and smells like Christmas. I’ve already placed another order so I don’t run out. I can’t wait to try the other Chai teas."

- If this contains honey, what's the nutrition information? Eg. Sugar and calories per 'perfect spoon'?
- Hi Temi, I hope you are well and thank you for your question. The calorie content of all of our teas after the brewing process is lower than needs to be declared on a food label, even the blends with whole fruit pieces and candy hearts. Since this has honey it'll naturally have some sugar/calories in it but not loads. Unfortunately I'm unable to tell you exactly how much for sure, because each spoon is different and it varies depending on whether you add milk etc, but either way it would almost certainly be less than 5g of sugar.
