    Black tea | Medium caffeine

    Now this is a classic from the biscuit tin. The humble gingernut! Although these biscuits don't look like much, they sure do pack a punch.

    They are usually perfect to dip in a cuppa, but we have gone one step further - we have made them into a loose leaf black tea blend. That's right, pop the kettle on, brew this up and sip on the taste of a gingernut dipped in a classic cuppa - delicious!

    This limited edition blend is part of our 2025 Tea & Biscuits collection, here for a limited time only to celebrate National Biscuit Day. There's simply nothing better than a cuppa with a biscuit, so stick the kettle on & get dunking!

    How to make a hot tea

    • perfect loose leaf tea spoon

      Step 1

      1 tsp

    • tea brewing temperature

      Step 2

      Boil water to 100°

    • tea brewing time

      Step 3

      Wait 4 mins

    • hot cup of tea

      Step 4

      With or without milk

    How to cold brew tea

    • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

      Step 1

      Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

    • Add cold water

      Step 2

      Add 750ml cold water

    • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

      Step 3

      Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

    • Enjoy over ice.

      Step 4

      Pour over ice & enjoy!

    Not for me

    I am a BIG fan of B&B. And I also love ginger nuts so I thought this was a match made in heaven. Sadly this tea is not for me. I have tried different lengths of time to infuse the tea and also different amounts of tea and different mylk ratio but does not really taste of much, in my opinion.

    A perfect cold-day warmer

    I first tried this tea in the advent calendar and was hooked. Fortunately, it came back into stock recently and I bought a couple of bags of loose leaf. It’s a really lovely flavour profile-warm ginger, a tiny hint of sweetness offset with a medium strength black tea. Probably won’t drink it quite as much in summer when I like something a little lighter, but this is my go to for cold days. Please don’t stop selling this!
