"I tried this in store before it sold out and I wish I'd bought some then! it's deeelicious but maybe only if you already like smokey teas. which I do. I would love to see more variety of smoky tea blends!! I would try and buy them all!!"

    Meiya (4/5)

    Sorry, not for me

"I am a massive fan of B&B teas but this one was just not drinkable for me. I had one mouthful and had to poor it down the sink. The smokiness was so overpowering it was like licking an ashtray! Didn't get the Earl Grey flavour at all which is a shame as I love all the other B&B Earl Greys. I'm sure some will love it, but it's just not my cup of tea!"

    Smoky Earl Grey

"I like drinks with a smokiness to them but this was a little too overpowering for me. It’s a shame as it smells so nice but the flavour just isn’t to my taste."

    Alison T. (3/5)

Definitely does what it says, but just not for me

"I'm sure its a nice cuppa, but just not for me, it was recommended as a potential but I am just not overly keen on the perfume of Earl Grey, but sometimes you have to give it a go. Anyone liking a flavoursome and stronger Earl Grey will surely love it."

    Jeff P. (3/5)

    Great tea

"Love this blend. I used to enjoy the now-discontinued version of this from another tea maker, so I was delighted to find this. It's warm and comforting without being overpowering on the smoke - the only thing I'd love is a touch more bergamot. I hope this isn't just a limited edition!"

    George S. (5/5)

    Lovely

"I am a SUCKER for 1. Earl Grey and 2. Lapsang Souchong. This was going to snare me no matter what. Personally I prefer the second brewing - you get more of the bergamot because the smoke's not as intense a flavour - but I love lapsang souchong enough I will still drink that first brewing XD"

    Hester K. (5/5)

    Surprising

"A taste that really grows on you, I found this and the elderflower to be one of my favourite daily teas. I wish this could be a regular flavour!"

    Jess (5/5)

    Love this tea

"Wow this tea is different but for me in a great way! It really hits you with the smokeyness and then you get a wonderful Earl grey finish. I can see this won’t be for everyone (as it really does pack a punch instead of being delicate like lots of Earl Greys). I only got a 20g bag today but will definitely want more of this one."

    Debby D. (5/5)

    One of the best

"I love Earl Grey but not the Earl Grey Crème…BUT this is one of the best Earl Grey I have ever had. Really smoky but not too bitter. This will be on my “best ever” list"

    Di (5/5)

    Interesting variation on Earl Grey

"Interesting and pleasant blend. Can taste the Earl Grey and the smokiness is not overpowering, adds to the taste. Definitely an afternoon drink with a couple of rich tea biscuits"
