One of my favorites. . . . and it actually tastes cakey!
"The ingredients sounded so lovely, yet so weird…. and there is GLITTER. Pine needles! Almonds and vanilla too! One and a half teaspoons of this was steeped right after boiling for three minutes. There was some glitter floating around in the mug! I don’t love Bluebird’s Ceylon base but the ingredients here together are so delicious. It does taste like cake a bit. It must be the almonds, vanilla and the sugary sweetness from the snowflake sprinkles (and apparently stevia, though it doesn’t taste like stevia). Unfortunately, there isn’t any flavor from the pine needles, which I was looking forward to even though it wouldn’t seem very cake like. The cinnamon is strong and spicy! Hints of orange. I really love this blend. I’d definitely keep ordering it, especially if the black tea base was different. I swear every time I steep it up, I forget how fantastic it is. It is a holiday essential tea, at this point. Please don't ever stop blending Christmas Cake!"

"For me this tea smells exactly like a Christmas fruit cake or Christmas pudding but with a more creamy note. However for me personally the taste was very mild it tasted like a regular black tea but with a mild hint of Christmas spice. For me a much more christmasyt is the mince pie t, which has a strongest Spice taste combined with the taste of marzipan. I found the Christmas cake tea quite weak in comparison and I generally use to teaspoons of tea for the size of my mug rather than the usual one and a half teaspoons which seems to give it a stronger flavor. It is quite a nice tea but I wouldn't buy it again as I prefer a stronger Christmas spice taste. it does have a strong cakey and creamy taste too."
