    Classic chai powder

"I was hoping for more spices and less tea as I really don't like tea. Unfortunately a lot of tea taste came through and I couldn't drink it. Literally money down the drain for me I'm afraid. You have to be a tea drinker to drink this."

Perfect chai - balance of spice and tanin

"I am quite partial to a chai when out but I've never made one myself and I would love to cut out the overwhelming sugar and synthetic twang of well know coffee chains store bought drinks. and I made this with a little hot water, splash pumpkin spice syrup and frothy soy milk. It made the most divine chai , no powdery texture and a hint of sweetness from the syrup allowing the spices and a touch of tanin bitterness from the tea to shine through. Absolutely delicious. I'm a fan"

    Tasty and convenient

"I love a chai but boiling spices and tea can take time. This classic chai tea powder is a quick and easy way to enjoy a cuppa which also tastes good. In fact, the taste is so smooth I have managed to cut out the sugar and still enjoy the brew."

It took a bit of time to get it right

"I love chai teas and wanted to love this one, however it took a little bit of playing with and now I’ve got it right for me, it’s delicious. A bit gritty and bitter when I first made it with water and a drop of oat milk or as a latte with just oat milk. I’ve now purchased a magic whisk and have invested in cinnamon roll Alpro milk and made as a latte this way it delicious šŸ˜‹"

    Bitter

"I’ve tried to make this taste nice , but it’s just so bitter. Maybe I’m doing it wrong , but it doesn’t taste like I would think it should."

    Victoria M. (1/5)

Taste was ok but it’s too gritty

"It’s an okay flavour, quite flat though. I’ve tried so many ways to make this, but it’s just so gritty no matter what I do."

    Daina (2/5)

    Loved it.

    "Loved the taste."

    Helén J. (5/5)

    Great for a chai latte

"Such a lovely drink when made using oat milk to make a latte. I don't like my chai too sweet so don't add any sugar or syrups but can imagine some people might prefer with a bit of honey or sugar"

    Alix (5/5)

    Love it!

"Took a few goes to get the perfect chai latte but now I’ve nailed it I love it! I make it with almond milk using my velvetiser"

    Laura W. (4/5)

    Not for me

"Really wanted to love this as I love all the Bird and Blend chai teas but this was disappointing. The pepper was too overpowering for me."

    Q&A

What does it his bag weigh? How many servings does it contain?
Hi Stephanie, Our Classic Chai Powder comes in a 100g pouch. We recommend one teaspoon per cup, which is usually around 2-3 grams. You should get approximately 50 cups out of this pouch. I hope that helps! Happy Sipping! Katie @ B&B
