Join us after hours for a ChariTEA Tea Tasting Lock-In, where you and up to 20 guests will enjoy an exclusive evening of magical tea tasting with all proceeds supporting our store’s chosen charity; L.I.C.K (London Inner City Kitties).
You will learn all the tips & tricks to turn your favourite hot teas into incredible cold brews! As one of our VIP guests, you will be treated to one of our famous Tea Mocktails on arrival before we embark on an evening of seasonal tea tasting. Our expert Tea Mixologists will be on hand during the hour Lock-In to guide you through a sensory experience.

“London Inner City Kitties is a non-profit, no-kill charity in East London established in 2018 to rescue cats. We are run entirely by a small team of dedicated (unpaid) volunteers whose aim is to help cats in need, especially those that need it receive medical treatment, need special care or are elderly.
We operate using a network of foster carers and our trustees cover all other running costs. This allows us to use 100% of donations for medical expenses, specialty medical food, medicine and on a few occasions is used for food and litter.”
Please note: You must be over 18 to attend a Lock-In alone, or be over the age of 14 and be accompanied by an adult (over the age of 21).
Who can attend?
Hosted in our London Borough store, come along alone or with a group, all are welcome. A perfect gift for anyone who wants to learn all about tea tasting & our magical blends, to enjoy as a team, with friends or for a special occasion!
Our London Borough store is wheelchair accessible via a portable ramp, please ring the bell at the door & our Teabirds will pop out to help. We also have a wheelchair-accessible toilet on site. If customers in a wheelchair are attending a workshop please call us in advance so we can make your event as smooth as possible. London Bridge is the closest tube, please follow signs for Borough Market. The closest car park is the NCP at London Bridge (SE1 3RU). We can tailor our experience to most disabilities, just let us know when booking.

Booking & Changing Dates
If you are gifting this experience, please choose a date that you think will work, but don't worry if your recipient wants to change the date they can do this easily by contacting our customer experience team via info@birdandblendtea.com or on 01273 325523.
Please Note:
Once booked you will receive an email confirmation and will not receive a ticket through the post.
Due to the popularity of the workshop and the fact they sell out, any changes to your booking must be made 14 days prior to the workshop date.
Unfortunately, if you don’t show up to your workshop and fail to contact us in the 14 days before, we will be unable to re-book you for another date and you will lose your workshop space and your pennies! (which we really don’t want!).

Store Manager Michelle & her team of experienced Tea Mixologists love hosting workshops as it's a great way to meet new people and share their in-depth knowledge of tea. They have a TEAm of Experienced Mixologists who work alongside them; Dane is a creative whizz in the kitchen and will always have a cocktail recipe or two to share with you and the lovely Lewys is a magician who will have your brew made up in no time.
